Everything has gone to hell for John and his allies. Captured and defeated by their enemies, all hope seems lost. In fact, all hope is lost when things go from bad to worse as Luz becomes involved in an arranged marriage, and a major character dies. John seems okay with all of this, as he won't even remember after he is forcibly brainwashed. Just wait until things start to get really bad.
